De Zaby appointed as new Brighton coach
Brighton and Hove Albion have appointed former Sheffield United and Sassuolo coach Roberto Di Zabi to fill the vacant coaching position. Dzabi, 43, has been without a club since July when he left Shakhtar Donetsk due to the political situation in Ukraine.
Now, De Zaby has signed a 4-year contract as the new coach of Brighton. De Xavi has been a priority target for Brighton since the departure of manager Graham Porter. D'Zabi is the one who helped Serie A club Sassuolo to reach a level in the past 3 years.
The Brighton team has appointed De Zaby and the entire coaching staff, and they are currently waiting for a British Work Permit. Brighton and Hove Albion will face Liverpool on October 1st, and that match could be the first game of new coach De Xavi.
